Woodstock Elementary families please take a look at the traffic circulation map to help keep pedestrians and cyclists safe and traffic flowing smoothly during arrival and dismissal.
Walking, Biking, and Rolling to School
PBOT has prioritized SE Harold and SE Ellis for walking, biking, and rolling to school. Please use alternate routes if you are driving and follow the directional blue arrows on the circulation map.
Bus Zone
Avoid parking or stopping on the corner of SE Harold and SE 50th Street as this makes it extremely difficult for school buses to make it to the bus zone safely. No parking or stopping in the bus zone, find an alternate location to drop off your students, such as SE Reedway, Woodstock Park, or one of the Park and Walk locations.
Park and Walk
These are low stress areas around the school that you can park and then walk your children to school. This helps make it safer at arrival and dismissal by reducing traffic on the streets closest to the school.
5- Minute Drop-off or Pick-up Area
This is a 5-minute driver must remain at wheel parking zone on SE Reedway Street between SE 49th and SE 50th Avenues. This space is intended for quick drop-off or pick-up and not to be used as temporary parking. When dropping-off or picking-up students on SE Reedway Street, avoid stopping in the road or attempting to make U-turn.
Yellow Curbs Mean No Parking
PBOT painted the curbs around Woodstock School in the spring to improve traffic safety for everyone traveling to school. Do not park where the curbs are painted yellow. Not even for a few seconds as it makes it harder to see children and families crossing the street.
Please help us make the Woodstock School community safer by slowing down around the school and slow down and use alternate routes when there are children biking.
